The Adeline B. Patrick Memorial Scholarship has been established to assist a student who has excelled in the music department at Tuscola or Pisgah High School. The Patrick family wanted to honor their mother by providing a scholarship to a graduating senior at Tuscola or Pisgah High School. Adeline B. Patrick, a long time educator in the Haywood County Schools recognized the importance of attending a post secondary institution. Her four children all graduated from the Haywood County Public Schools, and all were very active in the music program at Tuscola High School. To honor her memory the family has created a $500 one-time scholarship.
